From the span of April 12, 1861 to April 9, 1865 more than 625,200 people died in the American Civil War. The most memorable death in that timeframe was the assasination of President Abraham Lincoln 5 days after the Confederate Army surrendered to the Union. Y'all ChaCha back now, ya hear.
