How many people in the world play World of Warcraft?
Blizzard stated in May of 2011 that subscriptions for World of Warcraft were 11.4 million at the end of March, down from the 12 million announced in 2010. ChaCha out!

World of Warcraft (WoW) is the most popular MMORPG game ever created. Developed by Blizzard and deployed in a partnership with Activision, the game released on November 23, 2004. The first expansion to the game was Burning Crusade, then came Wrath Of The Lich King, and the most recent addition is Cataclysm. The online world recently underwent "The Shattering" which changed the landscape and gameplay of WoW forever.
