About People
People are, well, people, as the cliche saying goes. We are all people. The people of the United States, the people of Utah, the people of Chesterfield, Indiana, the people of football, working people, who care about other people and the people who spend way too much time playing video games are all people. Technically, grammatically speaking, people is the plural of person. It can also mean an ethnic or national group.
About census
The United States Census is a decennial (or lasting for ten years) census performed by the United States Census Bureau. The population is enumerated every 10 years and the results are then used to allocate Congressional seats, electoral votes, and government program funding.
About Missouri
The state of Missouri is located within the Midwestern United States. It is bordered to the north by Iowa and to the south by Arkansas. To the east you will find Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee. To the west is Nebraska, Kansas and Oklahoma. Missouri has a humid climate. In the winters temperatures average in the 30’s while in the summer the temperatures range in the mid-80’s.
About Population
The United States collects census data every 10 years to find the population of cities and states. This information helps cities and states to plan and budget as well as determine what types of services are needed in a region. One of the most important things the census helps to determine is how many total seats in the House of Representatives each state gets.
