How many pictures, video, music, and other apps can an 8GB ipod touch hold?
This really depends on the size of the files that you are importing, and the running time of the music. If you have a ton of songs that are 20+ minutes long, then you should only be able to fit about 400 or so songs of that length. Also, don't forget that the OS of the ipod takes up about 1 GB, and other things take up 110MB. So right out of the box, you have only about 6.89 GB to work with. Normal length songs are only about 3 MB each, so you should be able to fit about 1500-1600 songs.
