About Pizza Hut
Since 1958 Pizza Hut has been serving up some of America's favorite pizza as well as a big cheesy slice of the American dream. In 1958 Dan and Frank Carney borrowed $600 from their mom to open a pizza joint in the brother's home town of Wichita, Kansas. Since then the franchise has expanded to become an American icon. In 1977 Pizza Hut was acquired by PepsiCo, and in 2001 became part of the Yum! Brands team.
