Galaxy In our galaxy there are eight planets. There is Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. There has recording of a new planet outside of our Milky Way. The star HIP 13044 is showing a planet orbiting around it. Other than that new discovery, it is unknown how many planets beyond that exist. ChaCha on!
