How many planets are there in the entire galaxy?
In our galaxy there are eight planets. There is Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. There has recording of a new planet outside of our Milky Way. The star HIP 13044 is showing a planet orbiting around it. Other than that new discovery, it is unknown how many planets beyond that exist. ChaCha on!
