About Dirk Nowitzki
Dirk Nowitzki is the lynchpin on one of the better teams in the NBA, the Dallas Mavericks. The perennial all-star has been one of the best power forwards in the NBA since entering the league in 1998. There was speculation that he might leave the Mavericks after the 2009-10 season, but after signing a 4-year, $80 million deal it's safe to say that he will be in Dallas for the foreseeable future.
