The Major League Baseball All-Star Game is a game played every year between the best athletes in the National League and American League. Also known as the "Midsummer Classic", the first MLB All-Star game was played in 1933 in Chicago for the World's Fair. It was Chicago Tribune editor Arch Ward's idea to play an All-Star game.
