How many U.S. Navy Seals are currently on active duty?
There are about 2500 active duty Navy SEALs at this time. There are nine active duty SEAL Teams - four on both the East and West Coast and one SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team. There are also two Reserve SEAL Teams made up of SEALs who have served on active duty and want to continue their service in the teams after they leave active duty.
