About Illuminati
Illuminati is a name that refers to several groups, historical and modern. Historically it refers to a Bavarian group which was an enlightenment era secret society founded on May 1st, 1776. In modern times however, it has become a reference to secret conspiracy organizations which act as a shadowy "power behind the throne" style group which controls world affairs through government control and alliances with huge global corporations. Most believe the Illuminati is striving for a New World Order in which the entire world is ran by one government.
