How might the carbon dioxide being increased in our atmosphere effect the rate of chemical weathering on earths surface rocks?
Acid rain is caused by emissions of carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides which react with the water molecules in the atmosphere. Increased CO2 will increase the rate of chemical weathering on earth's surface rocks. ChaCha!
