Bagels are a popular circular bread most often found in New York, but increasingly, all over the world. They are a delicious chewy bread that is especially good toasted. Bagels came to New York with the thousands of Jewish immigrants from Europe that located there in the early 20th century.
About Panera Bread
Panera Bread is a restaurant specializing in baked goods, sandwiches, soups, salads and coffee drinks. The restaurant was founded in 1981 by Ken Rosenthal and headquartered in St. Louis, MO. Panera Bread started off as the St. Louis Bread Company, and was bought out by Au Bon Pain in 1993. Since then, Panera has expanded to over 1,300 stores nation wide.
