How much are voice transcriptional paid?
There are four ways you can get paid in the transcription business: by the word, by the line, by the page and by the audio hour. If you get paid by audio hour you make $25. Now, keeping in mind that it takes on average of 3 hours to type one hour of audio so thats only about $8.00 an hour. You can get paid up to $22.00 per hour if you get paid a flat rate.

About Get Paid
Everyone wants to know how to get paid more or to get paid fairly for the work they do. Often it helps to know what others are being paid for a particular job or occupation. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics keeps track of national salaries and their website can be searched by going to bls.gov and clicking on the job/occupation you are interested in.
