How much can check in bags weigh on Southwest Airlines?
Southwest Airlines max weight is 50 pounds and max size is 62 inches (length + width + height) per piece of luggage. Overweight and over sized items not more than 80 inches will be accepted for a charge of $50 per item. Thanks for using ChaCha!

Southwest flies only one aircraft, the Boeing 737.
