How much did the unemployment rate change from its lowest to highest point between 1925 and 1939?
In 1925 the unemployment was about 3.7%, very low at the time. It reached a peak in 1933 at nearly 25% of the population, after which it began to decline. After 1936 manufacturing began to increase in the US which started to end the Great Depression as the country began rearming with weapons which helped when the US entered WW2 after Pearl Harbor was attacked.
