About Minute Maid
Minute Maid, produced by the Coca-Cola Company, is the world's leading producer of juice and fruit flavored beverages. Minute Maid got its start in 1945 when it won a contract from the U.S. Army for 500,000 pounds of powdered orange juice, but the war ended before they could ship it out. In 1946 Vacuum Foods, later named Minute Maid, shipped out the first frozen orange juice concentrate. In 1960, Minute Maid was acquired by the Coca-Cola Company.
