Horsepower For 2011, the Dodge Charger squad kept the front bucket seats, even though GM and Ford’s new cars use bench seats (a rear vinyl bench rear seat is available). The flex-fuel V6 is rated at 291 horsepower, 260 lb-ft of torque; the V8 at 370 hp, 395 lb-ft (lower than the civilian Hemi). ChaCha on and have a nice night!

Horsepower

Horsepower (HP) is a measure of how much power is being produced from a motor. 1 HP is equal to 550 foot-pounds per second or 746 Watts. An actual horse puts out about 15 HP at max speed and about 1 HP for sustained activity. All though a car's weight and torque play a huge roll in its speed, horsepower ultimately determines the power.
