Flex-Fuel is a fuel that consists of both ethanol and gasoline. Flex fuel is also known as E85 due to the fact that it consists of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline. The ethanol is produced from corn and is an alternate fuel source to 100% gasoline. A Flex Fuel car can typically run on either gasoline or E85.
