About United States
The United States of America is a republic comprised of fifty states and one federal district, Washington D.C. Originally a British colony, the U.S fought a valiant war and signed a Deceleration of Independence to forever free themselves from British control. The U.S is home to some 300 + million people.
About Passport
A passport is required for travel outside the United States, even to Canada and Mexico. Those wishing to travel outside of the U.S. borders should start the passport application process two months before travelling. Business travelers and others that need to travel immediately can visit the passport office and get their application expedited.
