Recently, gold prices slumped to below US$1,700 an ounce, despite the precious metal’s status as a safe-haven investment in times of economic turbulence. Silver dived to US$32.90 an ounce from US$39.97.

Silver has fallen more than 2% early in the session before climbing back into positive territory and rising more than 2% to $30.76/oz.

The current price of silver per ounce in the United States is 45 dollars and 93 cents. That is extremely high for silver! ChaCha again soon!
