How much is the Indiana State fair entry fee?
Gate Admission for the 2011 Fair is $8 for adults and children 5 & under are free. Discount Tickets are $7. They will be available at all Indiana Walmart stores, CVS/pharmacy stores, Indiana Farm Bureau offices, The Marten House Hotel, and the Indiana State Fairgrounds Box Office.

About State Fair
State fairs began as competitive exhibitions of livestock in competitions. This later expanded to competition in categories such as baked goods, jams, jellies and crafts. Carnival rides, games, music, races and other activities later were included in fairs. The first official state fair was in 1849 in Detroit, Michigan.
About Indiana
Indiana is a state located in the Midwestern United States bordered by Michigan, Ohio, and Illinois. Indiana has a humid continental climate with cool winters and warm summers. The extreme southern portion of Indiana has a humid subtropical climate and receives more precipitation than other parts of the state. Temperatures in the winter average around 30°F/15°F and 84°F/64°F in the summer.
