How much minimum wage?
In accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act, the federal minimum wage was raised to $7.25 per hour on July 24, 2009. In addition to the federal minimum wage law, many states have their own minimum wage laws. In cases where an employee is subject to both state and federal minimum wage laws, the employee is entitled to the higher of the two minimum wages.
