About Obesity
Many health care professionals would agree that obesity is one of the most pressing health issues facing humans to date. Obesity is a medical condition in which excess body fat builds up to the point it has an adverse effect on health to the point it reduces life expectancy. Obesity can also increase your risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, breathing problems during sleep, even certain types of cancer. It is usually caused by an imbalance of calorie intake to calories burned, ie eating to much and not exercising enough. The most effective obesity treatment is exercise in combination with reduced calorie intake.
