How old do kittens have to be when you treat them for fleas?
Before treating your cats for fleas they should be at least 8 weeks old. Some medicine recommends waiting until 12 weeks. Seek MD help to be certain. ChaCha!

Kittens are baby cats. They are cute, get into trouble, and keep their eyes closed for the first week of their lives. They need constant care, as during the first several weeks of their lives they are unable to urinate or defecate without stimulation from their mothers.
