How old do you have to be sit in the backseat without a seatbelt?
The law allows police officers to stop a motorist if a child age 4 through 15 is not properly restrained, no matter where they are riding in a vehicle. You have to wear a seatbelt in the front seat, but after 16 you are okay in the back. ChaCha!
