How old do you have to be to own a .44 magnum?
In the US, (with very few exceptions like New York city or Washington DC) you do not need any kind of permit to own a gun. A five year old can legally own a .44 magnum if it is given to him as a gift. Permits/licenses are necessary for concealed carrying in public and have nothing to do with private ownership.
