Fredua Koranteng 'Freddy' Adu was born June 2, 1989 in Tema Chana and is an American soccer player who currently plays for Caykur Rizespor on loan from Benfica. Primarily as an attacking midfielder but also as a winger or forward. At the age of 14, he became one of the youngest athletes to sign a professional contract in the United States, after he was selected by D.C. United in the 2004 MLS SuperDraft. Thank you for asking!
