How old was the soccer player Socrates?
Socrates Brasileiro Sampaio de Souza Vieira de Oliveira was born Feb. 19, 1954 in Belem do Para Brazil and was a professional Brazilian football (American soccer) player who was also a doctor. He played for several teams such as: Botafogo-SP, Corinthians, Fiorentina, Flamengo, Santos, and Garforth Town. He won the 1982 FIFA World Cup for Brazil and appeared in the 1986 World Cup, the 1979 Copa America, and the 1983 Copa America. Socrates died on Dec. 4, 2011 from septic shock. Next Q!
