Pilgrims came in all shapes and sized just as with any other group of people. Did you know that the Mayflower held 102 pilgrims; 41 Separatists, also called saints wanting freedom of religion; and 61 Strangers - those who wanted to buy land, soldiers, etc. (30 Sailors making a total of 132 aboard).
