How to hook up a big Bose speaker to an iPhone?
Locate the "Control pod" on your speaker system. The control pod is a short, black cylinder. It's the same device you use to adjust the volume on your Bose Companion 5 speakers. Insert one end of the 3.5mm audio cable into the "line in" socket on the control pod. It is located next to the control pod's headphone jack. Insert the other end of the 3.5mm audio cable into the headphone jack of your Apple iPhone. Turn on your Bose speakers and your iPhone.
