How to solve N in a formula used in chemistry and physics that states that PV = nrt?
PV = nRT. PV/RT = n You just divide both sides of the equation by RT. On the left side, this yields PV/RT, on the right side, the RT's cancel out on top and bottom, and you are left with n. ChaCha!
