How was the Second Continental Congress similar to the first?
One similarity between the 1st and 2nd Continental Congress was the people. Many were the same -- they added Ben Franklin & Thomas Jefferson. The purpose was also the same -- the colonies were trying to demonstrate their authority to Great Britain.
