How were Sam Houston and Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna similar?

Rate This Answer

Santa Following the battle of San Jacinto General Sam Houston extended to Antonio Lopez de Santa Ana the courtesy of not killing him, despite the outcry and demands of the members of the Texas army. The fact that both men were Freemasons is not disputed, but freely acknowledged by the masonic lodges of Texas. Being both Freemasons is how they are similar. ChaCha!
