How would the surface of the moon look different if the crust on the far side were the same thickness as the crust on the near sid?

The near side of the Moon is dominated by mare, while these are almost absent on the far side. In other words, the thickness of the crust determines how much magma can reach the surface, if both were the same size, then much more magma would reach the surface. ChaCha!
