How would you describe Jerry and his mother's relationship in the opening of the story Through the Tunnel?
Jerry was distant towards his mother in the opening of the story, "Through the Tunnel" Jerry didn't get close to her until the middle/end of the book. I think he hadn't visited her before because he never had a perfect opportunity like he had now because of the reunion. I think he is going because he thinks his mom will be dieing sooner because he's wondering if she has changed. ChaCha!
