If a 10 kg mass on a horizontal friction-free table is accelerated by a string attatched to a 12 kg mass hanging vertically from a pulley. what is the force due to?
A = Mh*g/(Mh + Ms) = 12.0kg*9.8m/s^2/(12kg + 10kg) = 5.3m/s^2. This is the equation used to calculate the force of the mass.
