If a cop in connecticut tells my girlfriends parents that i got arrested can he get in trouble since im 17 yrs old?
When a person is arrested, their arrest is public record unless that person is under 18 years old. If a police officer gave details of your arrest to a person or people not involved in the crime, they could get in trouble for sharing that information. The best thing to do is to notify the police department involved.
