If a salaried employee gives notice and we accept it early, do we have to pay for the two weeks they gave?
Giving two weeks notice is the standard practice when resigning from a job. If you have an employment contract or union agreement that states how much notice you should give, abide by it. You will be paid for this time by your current employer and not your new employer. Thank you for using ChaCha!
