If I am a NJ resident, and I buy fireworks in PA and give them to friends living in PA, would I get in trouble?
No. In Pennsylvania, Sparklers, Smoke and Punk, Fountains, Novelties, Crackle and Strobe, and Wheels and Spinners are legal fireworks statewide. They can be purchased by any adult regardless of where they live in the state or any state. Any other fireworks may be locally legal depending on where they are being used or if purchased by permit.
