If I buy an unlocked Blackberry, do I still need a data plan?
Yes and no. Yes because you will need it to use any of the special features such as email, web, and IM's. But with an unlocked phone, the carrier cannot force you into a data-plan (AT&T will make you have a data plan if not unlocked).
