If I quit my job in Michigan do they have to pay me for my earned sick and vacation time?
There's no requirement for employers to pay for sick, and/or vacation time. They're considered fringe benefits. Any payments must be included in an employee handbook, explicitly stating how it will be paid and/or if it will be paid upon termination.
