If i took a pregnancy test and it came back negative and i am a week from my period would it still be correct?
Home pregnancy tests can be positive as early as 10 days after fertilization - a couple of days before you miss your period. But occasionally there are false negatives (a negative test when you're pregnant) or false positives (a positive test when you're not pregnant). You may need to take another pregnancy test when you get closer to your period start date. ChaCha!

About Pregnancy Test
A pregnancy test is a convenient and accurate way to see if someone is pregnant. At-home tests are performed by the woman urinating on the stick, which intern determines if the hormone (HCG) is present. If HCG is detected, then the pregnancy test will reveal it either by a color change, or digitally depending on the type of test. Most tests are accurate 99% to 100% of the time, but there are still conditions which can produce a false negative.
