If Republican party rules permit winner take all primaries, can you describe one consequence of this rule for the republican nomination process?
In the Republican Party, each state chooses either the proportional method or a "winner-take-all" . Under the winner-take-all method, the candidate getting the most votes from a state's caucus or primary, gets all of that state's delegates at the national convention. One downside is that even if the election is close it doesn't show through # of delegates.
