If the pacific plate stopped moving what would happen to the island of Hawaii?
If the Pacific Plate stopped moving the island of Hawaii would continue to get bigger and bigger. Eventually it might become the size of a small continent but not quickly. It would take dozens of generations to see any real difference at all, aside from the occasional burning jungle something they see now. ChaCha
