If life is discovered on another planet it would most likely be in a very basic and primitive microbe or bacteria form. Six major elements have long been considered essential for life – carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorus and sulfur. Recently NASA thought they found a form that proved this to be incorrect, but have since withdrawn the claim.
