If you are a minor in the states custody and go to the doctors to get checked for a STD does the doctor have to release the information to your case worker/manager?

Every state currently allows minors over the age of 12 to receive testing for sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV, without parental consent. Most allow minors to receive treatment for STD's without parental consent; however, California, New Mexico, and Ohio do not allow minors to receive treatment for HIV without parental consent. It depends where you live.
