If you are boating on a river and reach a lock and you wish to go through the lock what sound signal should you use?
To pass through a lock, signal one long horn blast or use the signal rope. Secure your boat to a floating mooring bit on the wall opposite the control house and signal to the lockmaster. After lockage, wait for horn signal before leaving.
