If you are Christian, is it still ok to celebrate Hanukkah?
Yes, you can, since Christianity has deep roots in Judaism. Islam also has deep roots in Judaism and all three are considered to be very closely related religions. ChaCha!

About Hanukkah
Hanukkah (or Chanukah) is the Jewish holiday also known as the Festival of Lights. Hanukkah means dedication. The Festival of Lights commemorates the victorious Maccabees who liberated the land of Israel from the Syrian Greeks in 167 B.C.E . The Maccabees rededicated the temple and only had enough oil for one day for the menorah but miraculously the oil lasted 8 days.
About judaism
Judaism is the oldest monotheistic religion, forming over 3,000 years ago in the area of modern Israel. Jews, as adherents are known, are an ethnoreligious group - that is, a Jew is both someone of Israeli descent AND someone who adheres to the tenets of Judaism. In 2010, the world population was estimated at 13.4 million Jews; 42% live in Israel, 42% live in the U.S. and Canada. The remaining 16% mostly live in Europe and Russia. There are three major branches of Judaism today: Orthodox Judaism, Conservative Judaism, and Reform Judaism.
