If you are Muslim, do you swear on the Koran in court?
In North Carolina it is against the law to use a Koran in court. I have seen where other countries use the Koran instead.

About Koran
The Koran is the book or text of the Islam religion. It is spelled Qur’an in Arabic, but is also often transliterated as Koran (most common), Quran, Kuran, Coran, or al-Qur’an. Muslims consider the original verbal text to be the final revelation of God and they use the book as a source for divine guidance for all of mankind.
