You will want to continue to carry house and car insurance even if they are fully paid for. Your home insurance policy comes with liability as does your car insurance. This will protect you in the event of a lawsuit from injury caused at your home or by you in your car. Also, insurance helps reimburse you in the event of an accident to repair damages. ChaCha
